Class: So You Think You Can Write

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN WRITE

I am teaching an informal introductory class
through the Salt Lake County Library
about writing and selling your first book.

  Here is the planned outline:

What you need to be aware of BEFORE you begin writing:
Do you have a brand?
Do you have your silver bullet?
Do you have your spiel?
Do you have a cause?
Are you a social butterfly?
Not enough time in a day:
Do you have a day job?
Are you married?
Are you a parent?
Do you have community commitments?
Do you really want to be a writer?
You made it to THE END:
What publishing route should you take?
Should you get an agent?
Can you handle rejection?
You're published:
Why isn't the money rolling in?
Do you have what it takes to sell your books?
